Vedic Astrology can offer a greater level of accuracy than other systems of astrology due to many factors, chief amongst them being the fact that it is a system that works with divisional charts, or vargas. These charts are employed when we want to investigate a specific area of life. I also do a lot of work with house cusps and nakshatras. So, the greater the level of an accurate birth time that I have, the greater the potential for more subtlety and precision to the reading. I have offered Birth Time Rectification as a service for quite a while, but have not promoted it due to the fact that the fee is assessed on a per case basis. For instance, a greater level of labour is required for rectifying a time where there is no known birth time than when one is adjusting the time by only a few minutes. To rectify your birth time, I will need and will request a few specific dates for which you will be asked the exact date of as in day, month and year. I need exact dates as I am working with a precise system of transits in order to rectify your time. This is a simple explanation of the rectification process though it is a bit more intensive than described herein. I use a precise system of transits in order to rectify. Rectifying birth time by dasas alone, I feel, is a sloppy technique. Transits offer more precision. Dates are checked against the Rasi chart, the relevant varga for the event, then confirmed against the D40, and D60. When all dates have been checked in this manner and confirmed thus, we can be sure of an accurate birth time where we can even look at house cusps in the D60 should it be needed. This being the case, the types of dates that I need are exact dates as in day, month and year.
I may, upon occasion, be backlogged with rectifications as they take time and are quite laborious.
