Sometimes we know better! But, we pretend we don’t! But please tell me, is it really wise to do something stupid in order to to try to avoid losing face when the embarassment of doing so ultimately causes us to lose face anyway? There is no logic behind your actions. They make no spiritual common sense. But then again, I guess that sometimes you have to be absolutely sure if a certain path leads to a dead end. This one does. But perhaps in arriving at that blind alleyway you will finally see the light!
