Grand Earth Trine March 2012 – Are You Ready?
The technology exists to run cars, even planes on solar, electric and other energy sources. Yet, we still rely on fossil fuels. There is a profound opportunity, as world currencies decline in value, to find a path towards a more sustainable and spiritual economics. Yet many still cling to the last vestiges of capitalism and mass consumption. Eco, from from the word economy, means environment, the truest meaning of the word likely arising from the concept of protection of one’s environment, habitat or home. The current economic philosophy is far divorced from this ideal as resources are hoarded, benefitting the few at the expense of the many, and in the process we destroy not only the planet but also each other.
Ever feel like you don’t fit in? Ever wondered why, when such a better world could exist, that humanity continues down the path to Self-Destruction? There is a scene in one of the Back to the Future movies where the character played by Michael J Fox, finding himself in the decade of the fifties, is standing on a stage playing a rippingly loud guitar solo. Everyone on the dance floor simply stares at him in shock until finally he stops playing and says, “I guess you guys aren’t ready for this yet.” Einstein too probably felt this way. The philosophers from the Enlightenment Period, such as Rousseau, Mary Wollstonecraft (Mary Shelley) and Diderot also likely shared a similar point of view. And, growing numbers are currently thinking that they are living on some alien world with beings whose level of ignorance they cannot bear. Luckily, there can be both safety and solidarity in numbers. Otherwise, the very existence of Humanity could be at stake.
An explosive, yet harmonious alignment of planets will soon be forming between Venus, Jupiter, Pluto and retrograde Mars becoming exact between the days of 13th-15th March, 2012. Harmonious did I say? Let’s try to understand this a bit more deeply. When passionate planets such as Mars and Pluto are in on the equation, the result is likely to always have a bit of shock factor to it. An accordant alliance between planets means simply that they are working in agreement to effect change. If we approach such astrological angles with awareness, we certainly benefit. With ignorance? Well, change still comes, but those who resist are dragged kicking and screaming.
Venus and Jupiter will be conjuncting each other in Taurus whilst forming an aspect known as a trine with both Mars and Pluto. Mars will also be forming the same alignment with Pluto. Forming a triangle, this configuration of planets is called a Grand Trine, and is very potent by nature. This particular arrangement of planets is even more intense due to several factors; the planets involved, the fact that all planets will be in Lunar Mansions ruled by Venus whilst Venus transits its own sign, and that all of the planets involved reach an exactitude of angle within three days. Ordinarily such alignments are not so closely knit.
Being bull-headed has its advantages if the energy is committed to evolution and the betterment of Humanity. But, when we resist change, then obstinacy bears bitter fruit. Jupiter and Venus will be transiting Taurus at the time of this alignment. The right to a decent living standard should be ensured to all, not just the few. Clinging to materialism to create a false sense of security is, in itself, an act of insecurity. As Venus and Jupiter pass through the Lunar Mansion of Bharani, an opportunity for a Quantum Shift is presenting itself. The steps taken today are what creates tomorrow. If we choose not to heed the signs which urge change then we only have ourselves to blame.
Active Mars is presently retrograde in critical and analytical Virgo. Mars, when in retrogradation, can be thought of as the Inner Surgeon. Passion is turned inwards for the sake of Self-Reflection and Healing created at the source of the problem. This cycle presents a profound chance for looking at what hasn’t worked, and choosing a better way. Mars will be occupying Purva Phalguni, which relates to creativity asking that we examine how we have utilised this energy in the past. As the saying goes…if you don’t like the effect, then don’t produce the cause.
Pluto in Capricorn has been hard at work over the last few years shifting the Power Structure on the planet with politicians, banks and other greedmongers as the target. Justice always has its day. As Pluto passes through Purva Ashadha, arrogance has met its nemesis. It must fall and give way to Humility for Humanity to live in harmony with the Earth. Revolution will spread until a more balanced way can be had. This is the Universe’s method for clearing the path for liberation and true sustainable prosperity. Don’t try to stand in the way, but instead join the cause.
