A web of self-delusion is sometimes spun. And we rest in it, hoping to ensnare our dreams, when it is far better to awaken and disentangle. The Truth may be difficult to accept, and subsequently digest. But, when we continue to live in a realm of fantasy that cannot be realised, when the Truth, however painful, is known, we set ourselves up for a major disappointment and possibly meltdown. Walk the path of Awareness. Although it may be difficult to take that first step, it is ultimately far more rewarding.
