For as long as the concept of prosperity is based solely upon material wealth to the exclusion of Spiritual Well-Being, then we will be subject to the cycle of growth and decay. The depth of attachment determines the intensity of both the buildup and the subsequent collapse. We have come to judge success and failure purely in monetary terms. Such a model ensures that those most ‘successful’ have reached their positions on the backs of those less fortunate. This has created a state of existence in which lack and greed have become the driving factors behind a quest for material acquisition and natural resources which can never be satiated. Prosperity cannot exist in such an environment. It thrives upon Abundance and Contentment in their truest sense, and for the betterment of all.
