Uranus in Aries – A Hard Rain Falls
‘I heard the sound of a thunder, it roared out a warnin’
I heard the roar of a wave that could drown the whole world
I heard one hundred drummers whose hands were a-blazin’
I heard ten thousand whisperin’ and nobody listenin’
I heard one person starve, I heard many people laughin’
Heard the song of a poet who died in the gutter
Heard the sound of a clown who cried in the alley
And it’s a hard, it’s a hard, it’s a hard, it’s a hard
And it’s a hard rain’s a-gonna fall.’ (Hard Rain – Bob Dylan)
But let us also never forget that without rain there can be no growth. Upon each life, a little rain must fall. And in the aftermath, where there was once an arid and bland landscape, colour may return to the hills. Even though it may be easier to understand in “plain black and white”, the hypnotic trance to which the world has been subjected has left the majority clucking like chickens and barking like dogs to the command of the corpse politic, and jumping when the corporate conglomerate says “frog”.
On 12th March GMT, Uranus shifts with a spark as it enters the sign of Aries. The recent revolutionary changes that have been occurring worldwide become even more radical with its move into this fiery sign. The balance of power is now shifting from the selfish elite into the hands of the people. But, as Jupiter’s (Aries) opposition with Saturn (Libra) also intensifies, tyrants everywhere will attempt to manipulate in order to keep the stranglehold firmly intact in order to maintain the catatonic slumber.
If truth is strongly desired, it can be seen. If liberation is what we wish to savour, then contentment can be had. But, mass consumption and the promise of an easier path can all too easily lull into a negative nightmare. Venus (Aquarius) forms a semi-square with the North Node (Sagittarius) on 13th March as Mercury (Aries) squares off with Pluto (Capricorn). Notice that as the “dummies” speak, the Ventriloquistic Crude Oil and Blood Merchants’ lips are moving. Make the connection and be seduced no more.
As Mars in Pisces forms a tense angle with Saturn in Libra, and Venus, still in Aquarius, semi-squares Uranus in Aries on Monday 14th March, a passionate conflagration can be helpful when it is clearing illusion. Anger is righteous when it serves justice.
The danger is that many fear change and become transfixed like a frozen deer blinded by headlights when the threat of losing their material comfort is at stake. But, for many worldwide, this convenient excuse is no longer plausible. The struggle for justice is fueled by hunger; a thirst for freedom deepens and is not quenched by the first taste. Awareness, by its very nature, involves deepening irritation as sensitivity grows and negativity becomes only more detestable. Challenge may bring the clouds that thunder and storm, yet the rain washes the dirt away and leaves us cleansed. A hard rain is truly falling.
Lift your head to the Heavens in Gratitude, and your Voice against the Unjust to silence them.
