Why dampen the flame? Certainly a bit more enthusiasm and drive will support the shift that you desire to create? Because burning the flame too brightly can cause it to burn its fuel more quickly! And unless you have some in reserve, you are running on empty with still no progress made! You would do best directing that enthusiasm toward taking a look at the ‘whys’ of the situation. And it is not always wise to try to push through an obstacle, especially when going around it might be what is called for!
