Krittika 7th May, 2016 – Inner Critic

Let’s talk a bit today about the difference between self-criticism. Criticism is only truly helpful if it is constructive and leading towards integration and growth. It is not meant to be used as a form of self-flagellation. But, that is often the result is it not? We wallow in it, complain about ourselves yet do nothing to change the circumstances! Whilst it is true that your ego may need to be toned down a notch or so, it is only because there is something that you have ignored. A change needs to take place. Be honest with yourself, but not to the point of harshness. Make the adjustment rather than excuses!
