When our sensitivities are hit, when we are feeling vulnerable, it is quite instinctual to react like an animal backed into a corner. But, what can really be hurt within you, pride? If you have it, best to keep it in check. Dignity? It will remain intact as long as you know the truth in your heart. Being honest and diplomatic is a better approach than be incisive and cold. What is the intent behind speaking what you feel you now need to say. If your desire is to help and to heal, best to just keep love in your heart and allow any storm clouds to pass you by.
