When we sense a vacuum in our lives, it is only natural to feel compelled to take action in order to fill it. But the flames of passion can often burn too brightly dazzling our senses and blinding us to the awareness necessary to make a wise choice. A plan is good, give it that much. But it needs time in order to grow to fruition. Temper enthusiasm, but don’t douse it. Let it warm and nourish your aspirations, but not rage to the extent that it fizzles too quickly.
