For the length of time that we continue to see ourselves as Souls imprisoned within a human form, we will not be free. When we instead understand that the true nature and reason of our existence is in recognising and realising that very same soul and fulfilling its purpose with love and service, then we shall prosper. Both conditions have as a foundation a deep longing, a desire. In the first case, this passion goes unfulfilled as the ego, under the illusion of the intellect and ill perception, holds us in bondage. In the second, with love as the guiding force, inspiration may flourish and carry us ever closer to deeper contentment.
