Aries (21st March – 20th April) – What I am going to suggest to you this week might sound like a feat only attainable by a saint. But, the horns notwithstanding, I do see the halo around your head growing stronger by the moment. Although you may feel the pressure mounting, you need to maintain a very delicate balance between firmness and flexibility. Whilst it may be true that it is better to do something right than it is to rush matters, a quick solution now seems quite necessary. Voicing your frustration over a situation is only going to create more conflict. And no one needs that. Although you may feel a need to cut straight to the chase, you also need to be tactful as your intent to help could be misconstrued as a desire to seize power. Hold the rudder firmly to steer your course. But where you can give ground, it would be helpful to do so. Yielding an inch stands to open opportunities where you least expected them to appear.

Taurus (21st April – 21st May) – Mercury retrograde gets a far worse reputation than it deserves primarily due to the fact that during such periods, many exchanges that might otherwise flow more fluidly suddenly meet with resistance. But, this can sometimes be quite beneficial. When our pace is slowed, forcefully or not, much that we otherwise might miss suddenly becomes apparent. A precious insight is slowly dawning. As it does, the direction in which you now need to head is becoming much clearer. Please don’t be foolish by branding yourself as selfish for wanting to take this path. Nor should you listen to others if they are trying to convince you of the same. I don’t believe in always being light and fluffy. I think it much better to tell you the truth as I see it. You may have to face a stressful conflict in order to avail yourself of what is on offer to you. And, you shall need to stand strong. But, mixed with the flak, there is a gem of wisdom on offer to you. An old method of behaviour needs relinquishing. Be willing to let go of this and all parties will benefit.

Gemini (22nd May – 21st June) – I’m not a big fan of telling anyone that they should get over something or someone and simply move on with their lives. I believe that we follow a natural process and when we are ready to let go, we will. Time is, after all, the greatest healer. But occasionally, we are ready to let go inside, only we refuse due to an unwillingness to confront the grieving process. I say this because I think you may be finding yourself in just such a situation. But just in the nick of time, a healing boost is on the way offering you a chance to make a great shift with a deeper degree of ease. Much in your life can now get better, including your financial situation. But, you have to be willing to avail yourself of the boon that is on offer to you. To do so, you only need do something which you excel at. Be flexible. Entertain your imagination like a long awaited friend. At worst, it will get you through a difficult patch. Cancer (22nd June – 22nd July) – Though none of us enjoy losing, we quite often find upon doing so that we gain much in return. I know that may sound like an cheesy consolation offered to someone who has been through a rough patch. But, please do take a look. What have you learned from those painful moments in your life? Although every moment is different and one certainly shouldn’t be dogmatic, it can be quite true to say that through our failures, we learn to not make the same mistake twice. When feeling plagued by an insecurity, it can be quite natural to attempt to muster a false sense of bravado in order to armour a deep-seated vulnerability. But, doing so now would be a huge disservice to the aims which you are trying to achieve and I would strongly advise against it. You can now close the door on a chapter of your life and move forward in strength and power. But exerting control is a far cry from being truly powerful. Instead, exercise a bit of grace and diplomacy and you will be surprised at the results.

Virgo (23rd August – 23rd September) – Sometimes, in quest of a wildcard, we miss an ace. Equally, we can sometimes dupe ourselves into believing that we have to force open a door when we only have to turn the key that unlocks it. You have been pushing for quite a while to free yourself of a difficult situation, but the answer may be closer than you think. Libra (24th September – 23rd October) – A crucial relationship is hanging in the balance. And that which transpires over the course of the next week is critical in determining its future. The person to whom this applies? Well, they are closer to you than you think. Please look in the mirror. I am speaking of your connection with yourself. Your destiny is moving towards you at greater speed. And you need to honour yourself by meeting it halfway. Any external relationship which is not supportive of you doing so either needs to alter, or fall by the wayside. Though it may sound harsh to hear, it’s true. Non-supportive and non-reciprocal relationships merely reflect the negative side of your own self-relating. Do more that is self-supportive. Scorpio (24th October – 23rd November) – It would seem that you have reached a crossroads of sorts. You sense an opportunity opening, but perhaps fear that approaching it would contravene the wisdom of your heart. Additionally, doing so is likely going to necessitate the cooperation of another individual who may not be quite so keen to comply. Being strong willed, this resistance is not easy for you to countenance. Although it may be hard to endure, patience would now serve you best. A key relationship needs to be purified of a recent crisis before it can move forward with any sense of the solidarity that you now need. Sagittarius (23rd November – 21st December) – True strength is not something that can be generated. You merely need to tap into it through cultivating self-awareness and self-acceptance. Contentment naturally results. A recent process of transformation has bestowed you with the gift of your wings. But you would be foolish to now beat them wildly in a show of strength. Remember that if you have something to defend, then it only stands to follow that you also stand to potentially lose. Although you may only intend to speak your truth, you may be seen as hypercritical in doing so. True strength and grace go hand in hand. If there is harshness or bolshiness in your tone, then anything you say will only be counterproductive to progress. Exercise a bit of tact and you will not regret that you did. Capricorn (22nd December – 20th January) – Much in your life is changing at a pace twenty times the speed of your usual saunter. And as a result, a lot of adjustment is having to take place on the fly. Although you have every right to pursue happiness and success, it does not necessarily follow that you have the right to force your ideas upon another. Progress does need to continue, that’s a given. But, you need to approach your current situation with the wisdom that experience has hopefully taught you. Being overly protective of a key connection could be detrimental to both the relationship and your plans for the future. But, you shouldn’t throw caution to the wind either. The fluid and philosophical approach will serve you more acutely than being steadfast or rigid. Show respect for the needs and beliefs of another, but hold equal regard to your own. Aquarius (21st January – 19th February) – The twelfth century Chinese philosopher Confuse-us was not as well known for his bouts of random wisdom as his shrewd predecessor. But, what gems of profound import he coined! For the sake of brevity, I’ll share but a couple. But, I’m sure you will agree. ‘It is better to know nothing than to think you know it all, I think. Do I? I don’t know.’ ‘ Sometimes better to not give a toss and be tossed yourself than to stand and grow roots like a prickle bush.’ Hope this didn’t deepen your dilemma further. My intent was to help you to resolve it. I’m merely trying to express that the chaos and confusion now present in your life will diminish if you give them less attention and that equally you should avoid trying to prove a point. You mind is too full and is therefore blocking the very solutions that you now seek. Try to drop the worries which concern you and your awareness will open. At that moment, Confuse-us say that brilliant ideas will abound and your life will take a turn for the better.

Pisces (20th February – 20th March) – I’m not one to try to convince you to be someone that you’re not. I’d rather support you in being who you are. It is true that you are empathic, deeply so and only right. You are also self-sacrificing. Serves a purpose where appropriate. But could it be that in an attempt to be selfless you are actually being selfish by keeping the world from experiencing more of the beauty and wonder of who you are? Sometimes, your propensity to care too much holds you back. Perhaps giving yourself the emotional freedom you now need would be better than shouldering even more emotional baggage. You need to move more freely. Not just for your own sake, but for everyone else’s as well. And there is no selfishness in claiming your right to do so. If you experience conflict as a result, remember that you do not need to be strong or prove a point. You just need to be yourself. If everyone else doesn’t like it, they know where the door is. If not, kindly show it to them.
