Destiny vs Free Will
@MichaelReedVedicAstrologer Am sorry for asking such a very basic question. How much ever I try to put it to rest, this question comes back to me in different ways. Question is “Can by way of free will, an individual change his destiny which has been designed by the universe or predicted for the individual“. Am aware that our karma and actions of the past have shaped our destiny for this birth and how we react to it is our free will. This concept is very clear. But if someone has received a prediction that he would have a divorce in 2 years, lose his job in 1 year etc. Then by exercising free will like loving his wife in every way and preventing any situation that would spark a divorce i.e. by exercising free will, can the individual win over his destiny and avoid the divorce? Then would that mean free will can change our destiny? Or if the individual works very hard at the job, pleases his boss, does nothing that would cause him to lose his job and manages to save it in every way, then this way by free will can he change what was destined and predicted for that individual? Which would imply free will won over destiny and free will can change destiny?Am really sorry to ask such a basic question in a different way but this question comes up to my mind so many times in different permutations and combinations and am also asked by many in several discussions. Can you please share your wisdom and show me the path of light to come up at peace with this dilemma.
